So, it’s hard to believe, but I am literally going back to the start. Another injury at Touch Footy in June last year has left me with a ruptured ACL on the same knee, yet again. My 2 years of rebuilding the strength back in my knee and my journey back to fitness has been stopped in it’s tracks very suddenly!
It might just happen to be perfect timing as I start thinking more about committing to my blog this year! So, why not start here. My new journey back to recovery! I need to consider what I’m going to do now, how this affects my training, or lack of, my food choices/planning (a bit more challenging in crutches) but also my mindset.
I am determined to stay strong, knowing that I have made it to the other side of good health the first time around and that this second time should thus be easier with the experience.
It will be so hard not being able to tie up my laces and go for a run though…but please wish me luck! Here’s to what lies ahead…the journey…and starting over again!
